Shadrid:
Born from the gods tear itself. The Shadrid are crystalline people, who seem to thrive off their own life source, much different than the other races. Little is known of the Shadrid, even though there is an abundance of them in the realm.
Shadrid have a human like form that is completely made out of the same crystal that the gods tear produces. They usually stand between five and six feet tall, and their crystalline bodies come in all types of hues, from red to yellow to white. They often appear in the form of a man, but they possess the ability to shift the crystal in their body to alter their appearance. A single tear drop from the gods tear rest within their body, usually residing in their heart, or their heads. It glows a bright light of the color of crystal the being is. This tear holds the same power as the gods, and is constantly reproducing the crystal that makes up the being. This allows them to alter their appearance by shrinking and growing, turning their arms into weapons, or completely changing what form they take on. Because of their bodies constant change, it is very rare that you ever see a Shadrid wearing armor.
The Shadrid are a people that have a hard time understanding themselves, let alone explaining their existence to others. They lack intelligence, making it hard for them to pursue endeavors outside of the one place they all excel in, combat. Shadrid are not known to be fancy talkers, or the masters of arts, although they are enthralled by both. They are known to be some of the most loyal people in the realm. Maybe because they lack the knowledge to know why they exist, which often leads them into becoming adventurers. Most Shadrid search for a purpose, and often latch onto people they think are in the same endeavor. When they make a pact with someone, Shadrid are known to uphold their word. Though they hold no emotion in the actions they take, or the people they are with. They have a hard time understanding basic emotions or their attachments like love or anger. They simply believe in their mission, their reason for existence at the time.
